Everest Base Camp Trek
The most famous walk in the Himalaya, up through Sherpa country, across swaying suspension bridges, to the foot of the highest mountain on Earth.

The valley of glaciers: Tamang heritage villages, yak cheese at Kyanjin Gompa, and 7,000-metre walls. All a single drive from Kathmandu.
Langtang is the closest big-mountain valley to Kathmandu, and one of the most moving places we guide. Rebuilt with astonishing spirit after the 2015 earthquake, its Tamang villages welcome trekkers like family. Every night here directly supports the valley's recovery.
The trail climbs from jungle thick with langur monkeys to the glacier bowl of Kyanjin Gompa, where you can climb Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri at dawn, tour a centuries-old monastery and eat the best yak cheese in Nepal. No internal flights, no crowds, all Himalaya.
This is our tried-and-tested general plan. After our first chat we fine-tune every day around your dates, group, pace and fitness, and send you a dedicated, real-time itinerary that matches your trip exactly.
Add 3–4 days to continue over Lauribina La to the sacred Gosaikunda lakes. The combination is one of our favourite guided routes and the teahouses along it know our team well.

Everest's quieter valley. A chain of turquoise glacial lakes, the huge Ngozumpa Glacier, and a summit view many say beats Base Camp.

The complete Khumbu: Renjo La, Cho La and Kongma La in one horseshoe, linking Gokyo, Everest Base Camp and every great view in between.
