Gokyo Lakes Trek
A quieter, equally breathtaking alternative to Base Camp, with turquoise lakes and four eight thousand metre giants.

The most famous walk in the Himalaya, up through Sherpa country to the foot of the highest mountain on Earth.
The trek to Everest Base Camp is the journey most trekkers dream about, and it lives up to every bit of the hype. You fly into Lukla, then follow the Dudh Koshi river up through Sherpa villages, cross swinging suspension bridges and climb into a world of giants.
Along the way you rest and acclimatise in the lively town of Namche Bazaar, visit the beautiful monastery at Tengboche below Ama Dablam, and finally stand at Base Camp itself. The next morning you climb Kala Patthar for sunrise over Everest, a view you will carry with you for the rest of your life.
