A glacier valley close to Kathmandu

Just a scenic drive from Kathmandu, the Langtang valley offers big Himalayan scenery without the long travel. You trek through forests and yak pastures into a glacier carved valley ringed by peaks.

The valley is home to warm Tamang culture and cheese making traditions, and trekking here directly supports a community that is rebuilding after the 2015 earthquake. It is meaningful travel at its best.
